Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
18+ Expectations
- 18+ Players Only: This server is designated strictly for players 18 years and older. Due to global laws regarding minors, no exceptions are allowed.
- Content Appropriateness: While this is an 18+ server, we expect all interactions to maintain a respectful tone. Avoid excessive foul language or explicit content that may cause discomfort to others.
Respect and Conduct
- Show respect to everyone. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of negative behavior will not be tolerated.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere by using appropriate language and behavior, whether in-game or in voice/text channels.
- Streaming Awareness: Be mindful that your actions in the game may be visible to a broader audience. Any behavior that could violate streaming platform policies or harm the server's reputation is strictly prohibited. Please do not play copyrighted music in server.
- Character and Team Names must not be inappropriate
- If you are unsure whether something breaks a rule, don’t do it or ask a staff member.
Racing Rules
- No Deliberate Ramming: Intentional ramming is strictly prohibited, except in races specifically designated as banger races or demolition derby events.
- Follow the Pace Car: When a pace car is used, follow at a safe distance and avoid overtaking unless instructed by race control.
- Listen to Race Control: Comply with all instructions given by race control during events. Ignoring or arguing with race control may result in penalties or removal from the race.
Communication Channels
- The Race Control and Team (1-10) channels on Discord are available for communication and coordination during events. These channels are optional but recommended for improved race management and teamwork.
- Radio Communication for Organized Events: During organized racing events, all racers and their support staff must use the radio phone app and tune to frequency 100.00 to receive instructions from race control. Ad-hoc races started by players do not require radios. Do not key up on this channel unless you need to communicate directly with race control.
Role-Playing (RP) and Support Vehicles
- Role-Playing: Role-play activities, such as opening stores or acting as a mechanic, are allowed. However, racing is the primary focus, and RP activities may not receive engagement if they interfere with races.
- Tow Trucks and Fire/EMS: Tow trucks and Fire/EMS are permitted. Fire/EMS/Tow may assist racers after a crash once it has been deemed safe by race control. All support vehicles must follow race control instructions and avoid disrupting ongoing races.
Law Enforcement (LEO) and Pursuits
- Cop Cars and Pursuits: The use of cop cars and engaging in pursuits is restricted to organized illegal street racing events and ad-hoc races where all participants have consented before the race begins.
- Pursuit Guidelines:
- Realistic Pursuits: Keep pursuits realistic. Avoid off-roading if your vehicle could not realistically handle the terrain.
- LEO Traffic Rules: Law enforcement officers (LEO) must remain in the correct lane for their direction of travel and are not to pursue vehicles into oncoming traffic.
- Racer Traffic Rules: Racers are discouraged from driving into oncoming lanes during pursuits. While not strictly prohibited, this tactic gives racers an unfair advantage since LEO can not follow you, this almost guarantees a win for the racer and is considered unfair to LEO.
Use of Add-On Peds
- Movie and Show Characters: Add-on peds that feature characters from movies and shows are available for use by all players, except for those in Fire, EMS, and LEO roles. This restriction helps maintain a professional appearance for emergency services during events.
Enforcement and Consequences
- Violations of this SOP may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, depending on the severity of the infraction.
- Ban Appeals: Appeals are available and will be discussed by server admin staff. All appeal determinations are final.
- Ban Evasion: Any attempt to evade a ban will result in an additional ban or an extension of the existing ban.
